Hey y'all,

I just returned from my Easter vacation, and found the Packet 3 from the Frankfurt consulate in my mailbox. I've read the checklist, but couldn't find anything that says I have to provide them with tax transcripts or tax returns of my fiancee.

Is this just a necessity in other countries' consulates or why do many of you discuss the tax transcripts/returns here ? I would just go ahead and provide them with the I-134 of my fiancee and her mom (since my fiancee does not make enough money), along with her mom's employer's letter and recent paystubs to back up her income.

Could anyone please clarify?

Regards,

Daniel

If you look at the bottom of Page 1 of the I134 it says - I derive an income etc. etc. and says something about attaching a tax return - so to be safe, at least attach the most current one and yes some consulates require three years. Good Luck

It says "If self-employed, I have attached a copy of my last income tax return ...". I guess this does not apply to persons that are employed.

Correct, however it is recommended that you provide tax information when available.
