Oh good grief. Don't let this turn into another Palestinian/Israeli bickering match. Okay?

spoilsport :protest:

*sets fire to the protest sign* Ooh lookee what I accidentally did there. Apologies. :hehe:

Is the turtle meat halal?

Hahaha, not. Don't start, seriously dude. How about posting to a thread that isn't to do with Palestine/Israel for once? I hear there is a nice one on Naomi Campbell somewhere. Or even feel free to join in the movie thread.

Thanks. :)

It was not me who “started” Look at page 1 wife of mahmut posting. You should tell her.

I see 40 years more of occupation as God’s punishment for eating nonhalal meat.

Actually, neither of your posts are relevant to the conversation here, THAT'S the point I'm making. Both are very thinly veiled digs and do not promote the kind of atmosphere we'd like to have on VJ.

Any further ones will be made invisible.

What do zombie children say about turtles?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

looks like you only want to show Palestinains as bloody people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:angry::angry::angry:

Only Hamas and the people that support them. All other Palestinians are cool.

Don't be so angry. Try some endangered turtle blood to calm the nerves.

P.S. Why doesn't Egypt open the borders to Gaza?...... hmmmmm?

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

This happens all over the world... try putting a camera-man on a Japanese fishing boat and the illegal poaching would amaze you.

As the video implies... To the impovrished Palestinians, the turtle is way too valuable to release and they did try to help children (even if it is a plecebo effect).

It is quite possible that they don't even know that this species is endangered. I can't imagine Palestineans spending their time as marine biologist and on National Geographic websites with the situation and other concerns happening.

Exactly.

For the OP -- yes, the NERVE of those hungry, besieged people -- using what they can for food, and trying to help their children as best they know how. SAVAGES. Why can't they just DIE or DISAPPEAR quietly, like they're supposed to.

 Isn't turtle one of the haram meats?
