This is a strange email from USCIS from late last night->

USCIS was working late last night. I went to bed close to 12 A.M. and I had nothing from USCIS. I woke up this morning and there was an email from USCIS. It stated that my EAD card had been ordered and sent to production on April 4th, and if they need anything else from they will contact me. Ok, well that is all good and well, but I received this same email earlier this week (April 2nd) when I was sent the original approval notice stating that my card was ordered and in production.

My question is WHY THE TWO EMAILS STATING THE SAME THING?

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO IS THE DATES...first one April 2nd. This one from last night April 4th. WHY??

The answer to your question is: USCIS is cuckoo. :wacko:

But seriously, getting the same email twice, with days separating each one, is not unheard of. :no: You can see such things in the signatures of many VJ members. There is just a glitch in their computer system and it doesn't mean anything else at all. (And by the way, the computer auto-messages are often sent out during non-working hours, so the system will not be overloaded.)

This is entirely normal. I suppose at each step of the approval and printing and mailing of the cards they send you an email - I got six emails when my wife's green card was issued. You are good to go

2008-5-09 : EAD card ordered and AP approval notice

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

That happend to me too, you don't have anything to worry, its means that your EAD will be on the mail soon.
