Yes, it's very common. In fact, it's not unusual for petitions to take 6 months to be processed (and in a few cases, even much longer than that.)

I know it's so hard and frustrating to have to wait. But you're only at the 2-month stage now -- nothing to worry about. Check out some of the other members' timelines and you will see.

Insha'allah you will get an approval soon.

unfortunately csc is not the fastest service center but in one way ur lucky they have picked up a lot since we first filed......i think it is safe to say that u probably will not get a touch for a couple of more months in fact some have gotten their noa2 with any touches.........the process for csc seems to take 4 to 6 months to complete good luck and just try to stay busy until it has run its course

I filed mine the last days of Nov and my Noa2 was March 31 . 4 months almost to the day . So you have a little longer. It seems that most people get approved when they get below 80 on Igors list for CSC.

Igors List CSC

Find yourself on the list You can expect approval when you are less than 80. It happens more or less in order. There are some that get delayed and I know it is heart breaking each time a newer application gets approved.

Salaam Michelle,

Yes, it is very frustrating!

No worries, too much though. Sometimes petitions get approved and they have no touches at all.

You have our prayers and support.

Good luck and here's hoping you get approved quickly, inchallah, (F)

I think a typical pattern for CSC is that your forms arrive and then they are sent in a box to the waiting room.

Some people see touches when this happens. I had 3 touches about 3 weeks after my file arrived. It may only be the first and last files or something silly like that . Then is the dead zone. You will spend the next X months with nothing . Not a single touch. Then you come out of the waiting room and your file finially get examined. You either get an RFE or an approval. This should happen when you are 80 or less on the list I mentioned. Hope it helps
