All i can tell you is that, have every thing prepared like tax returns, pay stubs etc each in their own folder and write on top what is inside so that in case the officer asks for anything you will not panic looking for them. Be very confident, look at him/her straight in the eye and you will be fine. Good luck to you

You can check out the "Consulate and Local CIS Reviews" link at the top of this page. Just click on Detroit in the "Select Local Office" link and press, "Find Entries". Hmm I see now the most recent one is for months ago, so hopefully you will post a review after your interview!

Detroit Reviews

Most AOS interviews are easy, quick and painless. Try to stay relaxed and keep your proof of relationship within easy reach (make copies beforehand, and give them to the Consular Officer). If you feel very nervous, you can get notarized Affidavits from friends or relatives, with them stating they have seen you both together and you are a loving, committed couple. However usually a couple of proofs are enough for AOS approval (at least two official documents with both your names on it, like insurance and utility bills). Keep a copy of the marriage certificate handy too, they asked us for one at our interview!

Sounds you have plenty of proof and all should go smoothly! Good luck!
