HOWEVER....i think the whole "worlds first pregnant man" should never be used, she/he is not the first pregnant man, men have not gotten pregnant yet, and when your a MAN who is a man without a doctors help and you find a way to become pregnant, then that man should have the title "worlds first pregnant man"

It was said that the Preggie-guy was legally a man? What constitutes legally a man? Transgender... he removed his boobs, took testosterone, grew some facial hair... But there is no way he had functional male reproductive organs which to me makes a man a man.

He retained his uterus which allows him to carry a baby to term after being injected with the eggs.... but I assume that any "legal status" of manhood would mean he doesn't have a #######. So a ceaserian is definatly happening.

he was on opera show. he was born female but later decided he wanted to be a male so he started taking hormones and had his breasts removed. he never took out his female parts cuz he knew some day he wanted to have children. the testosterone made is clitorus grow into a male part in which he said he can have intercourse with his wife.

his first pregnancy was tubal so that was of course aborted and the second attempt his wife injected sperm into him with a seringe baught at a pet store and the pregancy took. he is now pregnant with a baby girl.

personally i feel he is still a female!!! this is not a man having a baby. just because u remove ur breasts and take some hormones doesnt change who u r genitically.

i agree, and feel sorry for the baby.the breasts are important emotionally and physically for newborns.

Interesting. I'm glad they can have a baby if that is their wish, however unconventional it might seem.

From the sounds of it there has been no surgery to the reproductive organs (other than the removal of tubes due to a previous ectopic pregnancy) so there is no reason why the baby should not be born via a vaginal delivery unless a problem develops or the couple decide to opt for a caesarian for personal reasons.

I'm not certain at what stage under individual state laws a transgendered individual is regarded as being of the reassigned gender from a legal viewpoint, but evidently he is regarded as male and was able to marry a woman.

My view is that there is a mother and a father who seem committed to parenthood and I wish them well.
