I have it all but i wonder.

I was checking all my papers earlier for the interview and i didn't saw the request for it nowhere.

is it required in the packet 4? (like have all the original of the original I129F application) or is it elsewhere and i just didn't saw it ?

also, does someone have what is required within the packet 4 (mtl) ?

letter of intent and what else ?

Citizenship of the petitioner is established by the USCIS. The ConOff is not to readudicate the petition. If there was an issue as the validity of the USC, it would have been addressed by the USCIS (via RFE) before approval rather than have the ConOff validate a document maybe upwards of 4 mos. or better after the fact.

YMMV

I know Montreal is different from Vancouver but I am pretty sure all you will get from Montreal in packet 4 is an official interview appointment letter.

You are not going to have to submit a copy of your fiance's birth certificate to the consulate for exactly the reason fwaguy said. VJ recommends having it in the guides because all he had to submit in the I-129F was a photocopy of his birth certificate and they can (but likely won't) ask to see originals of any documents that were included as photocopies in the I-129F.

The NOA2 is needed when you apply for adjustment of status. I don't think the consulate needs that at all. VJ guides do recommend sending it to the non USC fiance(e) though.

You mention a very important distinction...

What it reccomended by the VJ guides under the guise of "good practice" versus what the actual requirement is.....

YMMV
