What to do if I-751 Processing and Going on Holiday?

Hi all!

I filed my I-751 December 14th 2007 and had my biometrics done January 30th 2008. I haven't had a reciept, I haven't heard anything from UCIS.

I am going to Puerto Rico in July and I am anxious now because I don't know what to do if my new green card comes late. I see the processing of claims for Vermont service center for the I-751 is FEBRUARY 07 which seems like my I-751 won't be processed in a very long while.

Does anyone know what I need to do to ensure entry back into USA when I come back off my holiday since I only have my outdated Conditional residency card?

I hold a UK passport and I have my ASC Notice for Biometrics with the Biometrics Processing Stamp on it.

Please help!

Puerto Rico is a US territory, travel to and from there is domestic, you are not re-entering the USA from there, it is like traveling to another state.

Another thing you can do to ease your mind is to do an info pass appointment and visit your field office and request an I-551 stamp in your passport, explain that you have not received your I-751 receipt letter yet.
