I think this while "One day closer" concept is my favorite thing about this board. No matter where you are in the process you are one day closer. I love it.

Today I return to work although I am still sick, need to get more wedding planning done, and homework. I cannot believe there was more drama yesterday .... hopefully today is better.

Have a nice day ME/NA girls/guys !

Good morning everyone,

I must say that after reading those posts about working and working and working that I am really enjoying the fact that I am still a student- this is my kind of lifestyle. Today I work at school as a computer lab assistant in the college of business where I am a student which means I just sit here and do whatever I want on the internet, like write this post. So today I work for 4 whole hours and although it is pretty draining, I think I'll make it through. Otherwise my one class that I have on Wednesdays has been cancelled so I'll probably go home and clean the house and maybe take a nap or go for a walk. Then I'll talk to Hicham and that's it!

It's pretty nice not to have to do anything however I would rather be working like a dog every day and have Hicham here with me rather than have nothing to do and have him be in Morocco. So for those of you who have your fiances/husbands here and are working... lucky you!

I hope everyone is doing well -healthy, happy, hopeful....

Sarah

ps. Aymerlu- what is that picture of by your name? The more I look at it the more it becomes a piece of foie gras with stars and hair on it.

I guess it could be a picture of someones eye with sparkly eye shadow and thick eyelashes... but whatever- I still think it's a piece of foie gras with stars and hair!

I swear this forum is what keeps me from burning out at my desk. My job is a bit high stress (those darn evil yellow folder monsters and their despicable commander telephone) and fast paced, so I love to open the forum, take a step out of paperdom and rummage around a few minutes.

Oh guys, I'm so having one of "those" days. I miss Mohammed so badly. I can't believe as busy as I've been that there is room for the thoughts and emotions, but they're swimming around in there and threatening to burst out again. We're only one month into AP and god only knows how much longer it will be. Wish I could flush all this, fly to Egypt and disappear with him forever. Pfft here come the tears. See? This is what I get for going home for lunch... hahaha.

Too bad we can't all have the best of both worlds! :D

I'm home for lunch - supposed to be reading 6 pages on durability of good for the final tonight. Only 3 pages left to read. Good thing Abdel is gone to school or he'd be putting his hands over my eyes again and telling me to study.

He is really so wonderfu! He was telling me about his grammar class yesterday while we were driving and told me that the teacher asked him to give another word for a load. Abdel said "burden", and the teacher asked him to use the word in a sentence. Abdel said "As we get older, time becomes such a burden". The teacher laughed and said that was what he got for asking a philosopher. I feel so incredibly lucky to have this man in my life. Not only does he think the most incredible things, he also even knows the music I love. Last night he was looking for a song and the computer said it was by a certain artist. He knew that was wrong, and said it was done by some guy named Chris. I didn't even remember that but when we found it he was right - it was Chris de Burgh - Lady in Red.

For those of you still waiting, please know that if your man is as fabulous as my Abdel, it will all be worth it. Every day is wonderful with him, even the bad ones. Last night I had three bad dreams and told him about them this morning. Would you believe all he could focus on was that he was in my dreams? He was not concerned that I dreamed horrible things about him, he was only totally thrilled that he was even there. I do know that the bad dreams were a result of reading some very negative stuff on here right before I went to bed so I don't think I'll read any more of those threads.

Jabbing at my face with handfuls of tissues trying not to sob. SHHHHHHHH YOU!!!!!

*Goes back to snuffling and sniffling and feeling sorry for herself*
