I know this topic has probebly been posted plenty times but am i right in saying thats theres a different way in getting the police certificate. Im months away from getting one as we only applying for the K1 within the next few weeks. I heard it was only £10 to obtain one but its been raised to around £35. Do i get incontact with the local police or is it a national office?

Hey,

There has been some changes to the police certificate, therefore the fee has also changed.The old system usually took forty days before you get your

certificate. With the new system, its ten days for standard processing, which cost thirty five pounds. However, if you need it to be expedited you will have to pay 70 or 75 pounds for two day service. Ten pounds was for a much slower service. Good luck!

I only got my police certificate a few weeks back.. And that cost me £40.. They keep changing the prices >.<
