Embassy waiting times :)

Hi all!

Just called US Embassy in London.. our package has been with them for 21 days (3 weeks).

They said there is a wait between 6 - 8 weeks for them to put it into the system and then a 8 week wait in which you wait for your interview. He said it was the most you would wait, so it could be less.They said im not even in the system yet, lol. Even through our congrassman got a email saying they where processing it.

I know the embassy recived the package on the 13 April.

After waiting for 6 months in Security checks, this i have to admit is a brezze for me lol.

Just thought the people waiting for London would like to know the waiting times they quoted me.

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

October: 13th: Sent off AOS Package

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

December 14th: Biometrics completed.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

Hi Hun

They will tell you they are processing it until the day it appears on their system then within days you will get your interview letter but London are now taking 6-8 weeks to process cases. Hang in there you are nearly there then once you get your interview date if you are anything like me you will just have soemthing else to stress about. :luv:

26-June-06: DS-3032 Choice of Agent rec'd via snail mail

06-July-06: DS-3032 COA mailed; AOS bill mailed

Well it was 3 weeks for me from the they recived it! called yesterday nothing on the system, then today called again for another Question and they said it was on!!

So for me 3 weeks from them getting it to being put on the system, but ill let you know..
