Your husband needs to be at the airport by 9pm because the flight is at 2am.

I would HIGHLY suggest that your husband be there by 8pm. Going through customs is a nightmare because I think Lufthansa, British and another airline all fly at the same time. When I flew NAA we got to the airport at around 9pm and we were in line for the better part of 2 hours before getting our boarding passes.

When I flew NAA we arrived at JFk early...maybe 30-40 minutes...but they took off on time in Ghana.

Most people have advised giving a good amount of time for connecting flights because they have to get their luggage and go through customs at JFK before they can connect to the other flight and that can take several hours.

Yeah I have to look for a flight to leave jfk after 3pm...im bummed though cause just last week tickets were around 201.00 on delta and now they are 350.00 as we got closer. If I had only earned 10,000 more miles on my flights I would have got one of the reward flights for only 100.00! sheesh!
