2 March 2006: NOA1 dated (received in mail on 9 March 2006)

4 May 2006: NOA2!!!!! (DAY 66)

8 May 2006: File Sent to NVC (as stated on email dated 9 May)

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

7 June 2007: INTERVIEW @ 10am - waiting for new police record letter

3 July 2007: APPROVED/Visa arrives

Got the medical arranged for the same date as interview 9th August .... at 2:30pm :)

Good luck to all the July interview couples!

Love hurts

When you live an ocean away

When you change your sleep schedule to catch a few more moments

When you really need to be held and you have to imagine whilst your partner describes it

When you constantly refresh the USCIS website to see if you're getting any closer

Love Loves

When it repays you with the love of your life

When God finally answered your biggest prayer

When you can live life again in the real world but still have that eternal connection

When you wake up for to the beginning of the rest of your life with the person you fought so hard for

When you love somebody that much

Just got my NOA2 approved in VT, so I'm now headed to London via the NVC...I hope these guys over at the DOS know how to hustle, bc I miss my fiance somethin' fierce!

Oh yeah...and can someone give me a rundown of how this shizz works? I know the general drill, but any London-specific information would be good. Like, when do we schedule the medical, are they still doing them in Birmingham, etc.

Basically you will have to wait to get the Pack 3 from London once the file gets there from NVC. All the instructions are in there together with a checklist. K1's are normally quite fast getting through NVC, you can ring them after a qweek or so from your NOA2 to see if they have recieved your file from the service centre. If they have you can get a new case number from them, they will also write to the USC with the case number and when the file was sent to London. Basically at this just wait its hard I know but thats all we can do:(

Tigre: Has your fiance applied for his police cert? That is the most time consuming bit - it takes the full forty days that they say. So I hope he's already applied for that...that's the best advice I can give at this stage.

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Finally, after just about a year of being in this whole process (3 weeks shy to be exact), we received an interview date today!!

AUGUST 15 at 10:30 am

Man oh man... so excited... I haven't seen him in 10 months, and even then it was just a very very short 2 week trip after another 8 months apart. And now if all goes well, I'll see him next month - and every day after that!!!!

(can you tell I'm excited??)

Dec 02 -- finally figured it out :)

Aug 3 05 -- submitted I-129F

Aug 10 05 -- received NOA1

Sept 05 -- two weeks in England

Oct 14 05 -- received NOA2

Oct 25 05 -- petition sent to London Embassy!

Nov 8 05 -- Packet 3 received!!

Dec 05 -- where's the police report??

27 Feb. 2006: K1 petition sent to Nebraska Service Centre

2 March 2006: NOA1 dated (received in mail on 9 March 2006)

4 May 2006: NOA2!!!!! (DAY 66)

8 May 2006: File Sent to NVC (as stated on email dated 9 May)

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

7 June 2007: INTERVIEW @ 10am - waiting for new police record letter

3 July 2007: APPROVED/Visa arrives
