Congratulations Euro!

How did you find out? i.e. did you get written instructions through the mail or did you get a reply to your email?

All my paperwork has been a week behind yours so I should find out next week!

I emailed them to ask.....................and the good thing is they have sent the papers to my Michigan address!!

We are hoping that maybe since our case was close to yours timeline-wise we might get some good news soon. Have to ask though.. did you get the P3? or just an interview date? Cuz we still waiting on the P3 from the Embassy... I finally got an e-mail response (after 2 weeks) saying:

"The Immigrant Visa Unit can confirm receipt of the visa files in the Embassy. Your husband and step-son can expect to hear from the Immigrant Visa Unit in approximately 4 - 6 weeks regarding an appointment date for the formal visa interview."

which is a bit confusing to us.. Not sure if this means he's going to get a letter with an interview date along with the P3 or what?

No matter what we are soooooo happy for you both.. I feel like crying I'm so happy...

No pack 3 just the interview pack with medical info inside too!!

your petitions were complete the day before mine at NVC, you should email them on a regular (maybe every other day basis) I emailed them politley asking if they had a date scheduled yet, the replys i got were realy nice, also you can call DOS if London has scheduled you an interview date DOS will know!!

Just incase you dont have the number for them here it is.......202-663-1225,as soon as the man answers (recorded voice) hit 1-1-0 it takes you straight to an operator,

dont take any notice of what the standard reply emails, here is a copy of the email i got from them......

An appointment has been scheduled for April 28 at 09:00 a.m. Written confirmation of the date and time of the appointment has been sent to you.

Your husband is not required to provide you with his 2005 tax returns. The Immigrant Visa Unit allow a grace period between the end of the tax year and the date petitioners are required to present the latest tax return.

Thanks for the phone number ... I called the DOS as you suggested but the nice lady had no information for me as to interview dates. When I mentioned I knew people who were along the same timeframe as us she said each case was different and there was no way to determine when the interviews would be scheduled. We are wondering if our case is taking a bit longer because its not just my husband but my stepson as well so its 2 appointments/cases in one (so to speak).

Ahhhh interview on wednesday...but i'm leaving tomorrow so won't be on VJ till I get back hopefully after my approval
By the way I reckon I win for being the most ripped off for the pics - £18!!!!! I considered leaving it till we got to London but I had sever paranoia so thought what the hell!!! I was in a bad mood about it when I bumped into my friend who is goin to work on the disney crusieliner.....she paid £25 for her pics !!

Anyway hopefully I'll be bearing good news on wednesday night send me some good vibes on wednesday please!

Thanks everyone!! Just got back from london........ with a big fat smile on my face :dance: :dancing: B)

Ok so we set of for London yesterday (me and my mum) and thought we'd spend the day shopping.....well I had the worst heart burn ever (never really had it before but we reckon it was my nerves :blush: ) so didn't have the best day on Tuesday- just basically felt awful!! So had an early night and was up early (shock horror) anyway we got to the embassy at 9.40am for 10.30 appointment and there was no queue and i mean none!!! It made me so paranoid, I thought I'd missed something!! Anyway I left my mum (who waved at me the whole time as though I was actually getting on the plane!!) and went to the security hut place (no zz top guy ) and I just apologised for being early and they were like it fine!! I went through and walked around the outside (my mum was now walking with me on the other side of the barrier blowing me kisses and still waving :blush: ) so I got inside had a little chat to the nice man who ticks you in, went up got my number (25) and noticed there was no non-immigrant visas today, just immigrant! I was 8th in line, so after much fidgeting and looking round I noticed the woman behind me was there for a fiance visa so I smiled at her but she just kinda glared at me :unsure: so I pulled out my book!!

I waited an hour and was called to window 1, I got there and no-one was there!!! So I just got my stuff ready and waited! Then a really nice asian lady came up and apologised for being missing - she needed the toilet!! So she asked how I was, told me it was a nice day to come as it was so quiet, she noticed I was from Blackpool so we had a chat about that, then she asked for my 2 pics, my payment slip, then disappeared to get my folder, when she came back I noticed the red approval stamp!!! She then asked for my birth certificate and police certificate, then my sponsor stuff, she didn't want any of the supporting info, just the form!! I told her I had a co-sponsor but she said I didn't need it ( :huh: ) but seeing as though I had it she'd take it (she didn't want any of that supporting info either). She then asked why i'd been denied entry, I explained I technically hadn't and explained that I just didn't have a flight home when I tried to enter so they told me I needed one, so I booked one and like 20 mins later I was allowed in!! Then she said it all looks good, she can't see any problems and to take a seat and wait for my interview. Oh and she gave me my chest x-ray back and gave me the courier slip.

So I sat back down and was called an hour later for my interview. The lady was also nice, I did my finger print thingy first then I swore to tell the truth, I signed a form, she handed back my original certificates and just asked me again about when I wasn't allowed in the States, she then said ok just go ahead and pay the courier......no questions about me and Roshon - I mean nothing!!! I asked her if that meant I was approved and she just said yes!!!!

That was it - all the worrying (and heart burn) for nothing!! Now I just need my passport back and I'll be fine (well till AOS)!!!!

Ok this is the longest post ever......sorry!!

Sounds like you had the same exact experience as me except mine was super busy day!

I noticed that red approved stamp...however, I think thats just the approved stamp on the I-129F? It said I-129f on the top of the form I was looking at anyway...o well.

woohoo feels good doesnt it! You should have your passport and visa in hand in a day or 2 :dance: :dance:

Thanks great news!! Congrats!

Ours is Friday but unfortunately I have a Sinus Infection. I went to the GP yesterday who didn't help me, sent me home with allergy meds?!?! So now I need another appointment after the Visa thing is over with. Boy, do I miss my old doctor back in NJ!Anyway, here's hoping I'm not too sick for Friday because even if I am, we still have to go, lol.

It's really good to know they have days when they do not do non-immigrant Visas!
