They still say they don't have our Packet 3 forms :( Although the last email asked James to tell them exactly when they should have received them, so maybe progress or maybe it means they lost them!

Day 115- December 12th, 2005 -Mailed Packet 3 forms to London.

Day 167- February 2nd, 2006 -WOOOT- Interview date received in the post!

I was going nuts by the end of January watching everyone pass me by. And I still see people were given dates before ours even after they gave us our date finally... so try not to stress to much.... I emailed a few times and just when I was ready to send an email again my fiance called me to tell me he got his date in the post! Now we have 8 days till the Interview!!!! This too shall pass :)

Thanks so much for the support. Did they continue to tell you they did not have your forms in the emails up until the point you got your interview? That is just my main worry, if they said they have our forms I'm fine and I know it takes awhile to get the date, but the fact that they keep saying they don't have a record of them over 4 weeks since they got them worries me! I know they're slow opening mail, but why would they have opened other peoples who sent theirs after us and not ours? I'm fine waiting for the date, I just want to know they have our forms!

yes for the longest time - I got the standard email response that they didnt have our forms in the system.. then there was the wait 4 weeks then I got one that said wait 6 weeks and then found out it was in the system then the following week it arrived... :)

I do have one question that I hope someone can answer about the interview... My fiance is confused as am i on the DS-230 PartII (the part that he fills in with the consulor officer)-

I claim to be:

A Family-Sponsored Immigrant

An Employment-Based Immigrant

A Diversity Immigrant

A Special Category (Specify) <<<<< I think its this one.. but not sure

I derive foreign state chargeability

under Sec. 202(B) through my

(Returning resident, Hong Kong, Tibetan, Private Legislation, etc.)

Preference:

Numerical limitation:

(foreign state)

Which one does he select- Would it be A Special Catagory? and if so does he put K1 Immigrant? or what?

:dance: Well after a long day of work, I got home late last night. I checked my email and low and behold there was a note from London. We have our interview date on May 6th. I requested May due to our schedule. I guess I haven't paid attention but I didn't know they did interviews on Saturday. I guess I assumed they were closed on the weekends like all other government offices. Has anyone else had their interview on a Saturday? I guess I'm paranoid that this is a mistake..... :wacko: lol

Good news here, got an email from the Embassy. Our appointment is for March 24 at 9:00AM. :dance:

We will stay overnight in a hotel near the Embassy with the baby. Found one that's reasonable that has parking and will supply a cot. There's just no way we'll be able to travel into London for an appointment that early.

Now comes the whole nerve-wracking part, right? :)

My stepdad is sponsoring us & I hope all his stuff is okay. To respect his privacy, I have not opened his I-864. I know that sounds strange but I feel I trust him enough and wanted to give him confidentiality.

As much as I'm worrying, I'm trusting in the universe to get us back home.

Wow, London is assigning dates into May! Congrats to our recent approvals and dates received. :)

Abby (U.S.) and Ewen (Scotland): We laughed. We cried. Our witness didn't speak English. Happily married (finally), 27 December 2006.

Latest news: Green card received 16 April 2007. USCIS-free until 3 January 2009! Eligible to naturalize 3 April 2010.

As sanc dosent come by much these days i will tell you he was APPROVED :thumbs:

Amanda-England (Yorkshire)- Mark-USA(Michigan)

April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008
