thank you everyone for your wishes and prayers, boy do I still need them...this is the gist of waht I gather happened yesterday..and bare w/me I am operating on 2 hrs of sleep and well nerves are a bit shot!! - so there was some problem w/the receipt for the application fee - that is put in the bank there - T said that the woman told him that he needed a new receipt or to repay and sorry that he would need to come back another time for an interview - - huh?! And he ? her if things are not in order why do I have this interview, I paid this fee..I have all papers...and he went to the bank at the embassy and they told him he was all set...so - - I am not sure if he ? for another receipt...and he was so so upset and sad that I really couldnt have a great conversation last night...so here is what I plan to do:

1. have him get a new receipt and send this and old one (if he has it to me)

2. i emailed the embassy already

3. I will contact my senator as well.....

so has anyone heard of such a thing? Anybody have any suggestions or something more I should do?? Right now I feel like blech...10 months since we filed....and I guess we need another interview..Hey do I get another slumber party?! hahaha...okay see here is my way to spin a positive!!! And I have more time to clean........

I'm so sorry Melinda. (((hugs))))

I know all too well the feeling of being sent back. After waiting for 5 hours or so they told us that the interview person never showed up and that he had to reschedule for the day I was to fly back to Boston. Really put a damper on my whole trip there and I was sooooo irate and miserable. My husband was very patient about the whole thing which made me even madder. lol.

I hope they reschedule you quickly and all goes well the second time around.
