Breaking: The AP reports Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama have accepted the invitation of CBS News and the North Carolina Democratic Party to debate on April 27. The 90-minute debate will follow 60 Minutes and be moderated by Katie Couric and Bob Schieffer.

> More: The response from Sen. Clinton's office came just hours after both campaigns were sent letters (below) from the NCDP with CBS offering the post-60 Minutes slot on the 27th. Obama had accepted an earlier invitation on April 19, but the Clinton campaign originally balked as that is the first night of Passover.

The North Carolina primary is May 6.
