I was not lecturing anyone.... I was advising that the OP contact the hospital to sort out a payment plan to clear the outstanding debt for the X-Rays that were taken at the time of the injury....

If the OP thinks the cost of the X-Rays are to high again enter into discussions with the hospital to see if the cost can be reduced... but at the end of the day the OP will have to pay for the service recieved... no matter how unreasonable they think it is....

The cell phone issue is a diffrent thing here there is a clear dispute of being charged for a service they did not receive.... and sometimes you have to get a lawyer involved to get things sorted out with a company that is being unfair...

.. if you used the service then you have to pay the bill... so working with the hospital to come to an agreement is the best way to deal with this situation...

You don't seem to question the more than 3000.00 for 3 x-rays as "unreasonable" but you question the cell phone as such. hm!!...In addition, the OP in your saying HAS to pay that amount without questionning it? if so, this is exactly what i was point out, you don't seem to get it...lol...

Of course she/he should question it if they feel the cost does not reflect the service given... but that does not meen you dont have a bill to pay....

Medical costs without insurance are very high..... but as you say "I dont get it" and what you dont get is that I was not lecturing anybody, I was sugesting that they need to sort out the outstanding bills they have....... have a great weekend..

I'm having a great time thanks, but has nothing to do with the topic: you were lecturing as usual and do not agree to a certain extent it has to continue on and on...this even if i find your financial coments very helpful, but, not the personal situation of people struggling to pay their bills. Saying : 'you have to pay your debt' when the human part is not taken into account is no more valuable, at least in my book. The OP said he-she pays the bills...I bet you are in the financial field and i have witnessed many trying to negotiate in vain with those companies to make reasonable payments...in vain as well....the only statement in their mouth is: you have to pay your debt...NOBODY has to pay something that is exagerated..paying 1000 for 1 x-ray is terribly wayyyyy to much...you in the financial field must know these types of abuses....this is my last comment on here because you never get it....

I am very saddened to read that you think that all I do here on VJ is lecture to people.... Who am I to try to sugest that someone sort out the bills....
