No. Its just no longer relevant. Some people just like to beat dead horses, I guess.

Im familiar with that saying. The horse is not dead and is just waiting for some more pony rides. I don't blame him. If she can't ride ponies, (or lick lolly-pops) she should let someone else do it, hence the forgiveness.

look at at this way,

Bush goes to bed at 10 pm, presumably sleeps in same bed as Laura Bush nice guy,

He went to war with iraq on false pretext (WMD)

Got all of us into debt to the tune of 10 trillion and mounting

Casued the unecessar death of 4000 (and mounting)U.S. soldiers plus hundred of thousand of

Iraquis.

Bill Clinton

brought wiped the deficits and debts that Reagan Bush incurred

and left office with a budget surplus

Economy grew, crime rates fell, and the world had great respect for US.

Many Europeans expressed desire that Bill could run for President of their respective countries.

Given the two choices, I'd rather have Bill Clinton and would even endorse having the Empire Club reloctaed to the Admiralty building next to the WH to service him.

Just a technical note. He wiped out the deficit, but not the debt.

The debt is a cumulative number, the sum of every deficit ever incurred minus debt payments.

Not having a deficit one year means not adding to the debt that year. It does not mean the debt got wiped out.

Regardless, your point of him having balanced the budget is fair.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Yes, I haven't any idea why people think this is relevant to this race. I also don't know what exactly they think this has to do with Hillary. She didn't do anything to bring on Bill's infidelity, and it's anti-feminist, or anti-woman (if you prefer) to suggest that. Her choices about her relationships are her choices. I really don't care.

This race is far from clean. And she "might" have had everything to do with BCs infidelity. It happened under her nose and/or she obviously lacks in the pleasing department.

And what happens in their marriage is your business because...?

My business because, the media made it my business. Why the impeachment then. Spitzer should have stayed governer then, if its no ones business.

Spitzer covered up his prostituion visits with fraud. That causes more problems than the prostition does.

For clinton it was perjury. Not his affair that got him the impeachment. Having an affair is not illegal, lying about it under oath is.

Because of people like you who think stuff like this matters in terms of politics and that it's their business because "the media made it their business". Which is something I will never understand about this country...

I don't remember fraud and perjury being the bigger deal in both those cases. Its the dirt that America craves for.

He did manage to reduce the federal debt to an extent. He did not eliminate it.

You can't impeach a president over an affair. Of course, there were probably many people who didn't realize the differnece.

I don't have numbers near me now (and I am about to log out) but if you find the numbers, you will see he made barely a dent.

However, that is a reflection on the enormity of the debt - not on President Clinton.

Making a sizable impact on the debt will take many Presidents to commit to balanced budgets and to actually achieve it.

Hey, if the media did not think it mattered, they would not report it and they would not make the billions they do off of this kind of dirt. And.. people would not make decisions made on media opinions. Blame it on the messenger.

You have a choice to not feed off the media garbage.

And most of the Republicans who ran for president this year were on their second or third wife - who cares?

Who really knows what goes on in a marriage that is not there own? If she forgave him and continued on with the marriage (you know, in good times and bad) it is not for anyone else to judge or speculate since they don't have to be married to Bill.

I know a lot of women (and men) who are able to forgive infidelity; others can not. Last week someone said they were going to divorce their husband for smoking. Different strokes for different folks.

Anyone who does that deserves to stain a few dresses in my book.

To the OP - some couples have open marriages.
