My fiancée received a text that said

"pls call wwwexpress at 8798888 look for **** regarding ur dox from US Embassy"

What is this about? Anyone receive this text before? I looked and wwwexpress is DHL. I'm wondering if they are trying to deliver the packet 4 to her. Anyone know?

That should be interesting. Ricky was told that USEM won't send any packet anymore and that I should just download it from USEM site and then print out the confirmation email that they sent to serve as my appointment letter... but well, we called April 1, it's April 3 already so who knows if they have changed the procedures again :unsure:

That should be the Packet 4 for her. They probably had a hard time locating your fiancee's address or they want to make sure that she will be there when they deliver it. Pretty interesting since I thought they don't send P4 anymore with their new procedures at USEM. :whistle:

Yes that is the Packet 4. I receive a text message from them before too.

06/16/07 checks for I-130 cashed

06/19/07 sent I-129F not waiting for noa1 but with printed online copies of checks cashed

Yeah, they messed up a lot of stuff. I even have two interview dates the 16th and the 23rd. I show up to the date I want. They said its because they got my file right when the process was changing so the embassy did the old process and I called for the new process. I am guessing I am getting a packet 4 from the old process.

Would that mean that we, whose papers reached USEM after march 19 (when the new system was in place) would have to believe and trust that USEM visa information service agent that they really won't send anything to? Even their appointment packets online are confusing, they still did not remove that old appointment packet with outdated information on the fees and they have another set of appointment packets with all the new info.

Hayy, aren't we all glad that we have VJ?

ericc, i receive something from embassy through DHL and its just an information regarding their new process.its not a packet four....i did not receive any text but it was delivered to our house here in bohol...

could you pls share the exact contents of what you received? packet 4 is supposed to be the appointment letter, the preparation instructions and all the forms needed.
