EAD and AP processing times - Kansas City and Memphis

Hi,

I am trying to figure out the AOS/ EAD/ AP process at the moment and have a question I can't seem to find the answer too (though i'm sure its on here somewhere).

We are currently living in Nashville but will be moving to Kansas City in 30 days just before getting married so we will be filling through the Kansas City local office. I was just comparing the processing times for the two local offices, KC and Memphis, and Memphis seems much faster. According to the stats KC is processing AP applications dated as of June 15 07 and Memphis is doing Dec 16 07.

Is it really taking 9 months to get a AP from KC? And EAD seems to also take much longer at KC also.

Any advice appreciated.

My EAD was approved for 62 days. I didn't apply for AP.

I don't think there's much point in looking at the official figures for wait times. I'd scour the forum for someone who lives in your area who filed recently and see how long its taking them.

Local offices do tno adjudicate these applications. The only thing that could cause a delay in EAD or AP in any particular area would be a delay on the biometrics which in turn may cause a slight delay in the processing of these 2 applications.
