My husband was a college student last year and just graduated last May 2007 . He started to work last July 2007 till now.

He's earning above poverty level. but he don't have the ITR for the past 3 recent years. (2006,2005)

I read somewhere that last 3 recent years of ITR is a requirements. Just to make sure, we will do the co-sponsor but my question is , would it be okay

if the co-sponsor is not related to the petitioner? they are bestfriend sinced Highschool and they used to live in one hometown and now they live in same city. he's friend is willing to be my co-sponsor. Do u think Manila Embassy will be okay with this? coz I heard that Manila Embassy are strict about

Co-sponsor.

Thank You..

Three years of tax returns is a "best practice" not a requirement. The somewhere most important to read is the I-134 instructions.

A best friend is fine and actually preferrable to an aged parent.
