Congrats Gooden. That is really great news!!!

Isn't that a really short notice. Your interview date is next week. Have you already gotten the interview letter and has your SO already done his medical?

Keep us updated. I wish you all the best.

I beleive these are the steps that took place, as I recount them, when talking with my SO.

When we received packet 3 there were three places they had listed that he could schedule his medical at (I was there then, and assisted with filling out packet 3). He picked the place in Montigo Bay. The place in Montigo Bay,gave him an appointment, which he and his kids went to. The clinic, forwarded the medical results to the Embassy.

About a week or so later he received a call from the Embassy that they had his medical but not his application. He was waiting for me to send him the fee for the app. He informed them that he would hand deliver it in the next few days, which he did. (which I believe is backwards, right? Do you normally turn in your packet 3 with fees, then get an interview date and have medical done) At the Embassy he was told they would call him in the next week to schedule an interview. One week went by and no call, so he called them and was given a date of April 9, 2008 at 7:30. Do you know if you need to have an interview letter in hand when you go to the interview?? Maybe he should call them again, might not receive a letter by next week!

I believe that you need to have the interview letter as you will not be allowed into the embassy without the letter. This is not from personal experience but that is what everybody on the yardie has stressed.

Msybr you should call them and make sure about that appointment letter. Maybe provisions were made for him to go in.

The order thatg I have always seen on VJ is after the DS-230 is submitted you get an appointment letter with your interviw date and instructions on geting your medical done.

Wonder what happened?

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
