Maybe he should have sat him down and 'discussed' what he did. What about the 8 year old girl's life which has been ruined? I am more concerned about the victim than the criminal.

I would have preferred he simply beat him up but maybe the father is into that ####..

Personally I can't imagine being in that situation, nor would I particularly want to. Even so - I do think what the father allegedly did in response to it is... rather weird to say the least.
