Just had a very frustrating conversation with the NVC operators! I called to see if a Supervisor had reviewed my case yet because they told me last week that I sent in the wrong birth certificate but I told them no, I did send in the right birth certificate. The operator told me that they reviewed my file and that they are still saying that I have sent the wrong certificate etc. I told them that it was the only one that B.C. is issuing now and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was very helpful but said that it had to be a certain size according to the embassy and embassy advises of changes but said she would look into my file personally and see what was there and for me to call back next week. After I hung up from her, I found the information on the Vital Statistics website saying that this birth certificate is what is being issued as of Jan 2/08 so I called back and gave her at website. Figures I would be the first person from B.C. to send in this birth certificate....lol!!!!!

That is the one I sent in....It is new as of Jan 2/08 and they knew nothing about it. Like I said, figures it looks like I would be the first one to send the new one in! Now that the supervisor has this website and is going to look in my file again all should be OK now. Hopefully they will have it on record now for anyone else in the future!
