I filed my application on February 17, 2008, recieved the biometrics appointment 2 weeks after (biometrics was already taken on 3/28/08 though). When I checked the status at the USCIS website, the message mentioned that my case was transferred to Vermont from Texas on March 12 and a notice of that transfer was mail to me then. Well, I have not reiceved the any letters yet. I even dont have my extension letter and my greencard and driver's license will expire on 5/17.

Anyone here has the same situation with me? Should I give it few weeks before requesting infopass?

Your thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Interestingly, none of us who submitted our applications to Texas have received NOAs yet. Your file was transferred to Vermont - and one of the other applicants to Texas has posted that her file was also transferred. She has not received an NOA or a biometrics letter/appointment so you are definitely ahead of the rest of us right now. When I called to find out where my NOA was, I was told to allow a month after the cheque was cashed before getting worried so you can call the USCIS information line, ask to speak to an immigration officer and ask them to expedite the NOA if your cheque was cashed more than a month ago.

You can make an infopass appointment, probably around the end of April and get the I-551 stamp in your passport so you will be able to renew your DL. Good luck.
