Hi Everyone,

With the help of this site, I was able to be with my wife after our marriage very quickly and without any problems. I now have some issues with applying I-751. I need help with what documents are needed to prove our relationships.

I have the following documents ready:

- Taxes filed for last two years

- Bank Account (Checking only). Just opened 3 months back.

- Pictures

- Health Insurance card with both of our names

The thing is my wife has been extremely busy with her studies, so we never really got around to doing lot of things. Can I just show things which have our home address on them? I live in a joint family, so the house is actually in mine and my dad's name. Can I get letters from my family members vouching for our relationship? Please help. Thanks.

So with the docs that I currently have, plus few letters from different people will suffice?

How long have you been married? You're applying to remove conditions to residency, right? Why no joint bank account until 3 months ago? Judging by what I've seen others submit for evidence during the removal of conditions process, I'd say you're a little on the light side of things....you may need to come up w/ more evidence that demonstrates an on-going marriage.

Can't you also get Credit cards in both names (on the same account) and include a copy; Sears or Kohl's or Macy's cards etc. will also work.

Life Insurances with the other as beneficiary - would also help;

And don't forget pictures of you two together with friends and family.

Good Luck

Since you live in a joint family me thinks it would be beneficial to explain that in your application. Also am sure you must have photos of family events, etc or maybe some travel together. Those will also help.

Good luck :thumbs:
