(I can't remember if I read this one here before or not, but just in case it's not . . . .)

A blonde goes into a Tim Horton's and notices there's a 'roll up the rim' sticker on

her coffee cup. So she unfolds it and starts screaming, 'I've won a motorhome! I've won a

motorhome!'

The waitress says, 'That's impossible. The biggest prize is a car.'

But the blonde keeps on screaming , 'I've won a motorhome! I've won a motorhome!'

Finally, the manager comes over and says, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry, but you're

mistaken. You couldn't have possibly won a motorhome because we didn't have that

as a prize'.

The blonde says, 'No, it's not a mistake. I've won a motorhome!' And she hands the cup

to the manager and HE reads...

(YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS !!!!!! . I PROMISE !)

'W I N A B A G E L'

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Reminds me of my son when he was young. He was telling me about his big day with his aunt at dinner, once. "And we got to go on a rutabaga and everything!" Until my sister explained..... they'd been in a winnebago.

I think that was also the same day that he thought he had radishes on his chin. click. "Oh, you mean a rash on your chin!" Kids are hilarious.

Oh you just reminded me of another cute 'kid' story!

One day while I was Curator at the Chatham-Kent Museum I was working in the Archives which is on the museum's second floor. The door was open and I heard this little boy pleading with his father as they were coming up the stairs. "There is, there IS an Alligator in the Museum!! There really is!' He almost sounded like he was in tears so it was obviously his father was telling him otherwise. Anyway, he gets to the top of the stairs, points to the elevator that is also available and opens beside the stairwell, and says 'SEE?!! I TOLD you there was an alligator in the museum!"

Well, this isn't kid-related but you reminded me 'cause of the museum bit....

My sister and I were on a tour of Buckingham Palace when they had it open to the public to raise funds for the rebuilding of Windsor Castle. In each room there were very well dressed and distinguished young men hovering. A couple of British ladies out for a bit of fun kept chatting to them and distracting them from their duties.... wanting to know what they did (theology students), why they were there (working during semester break), and what time did they get off. One young man was finally able to end it all by responding "As soon as you leave, madame. As soon as you leave." We howled.

Too funny!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
