About police clearance

hi

Ive been working in abroad and I want to know when is the best to get the police clearance.. we are January filers and i don't know when is the best to prepare for that and how long ? Do i need to prepare after the approval or after the four months waiting to NOA2??

Well I suggest that you check out how it takes to issue a police certificate for that certain country and then make your own estimation as to when you should apply for it to receive in time for your interview. The processing time varies from country to country... One might take one week and another might take 3 months.

I applied my Certificates after I received my NoA2 and I am still pending one from Colombia which I doubt is going to arrive for my interview.... Should have applied for it way earlier!!

Police clearance here is valid only for 60 days after the issued date.

I'm here already in phil. and im work in taiwan.. they say i need to get the police clearance in taiwan and i don't know when i will be able to prepare for that ..Before the approval or after the NOA2?

It is advisable to first find out how long does it take to get one issued. If it takes months to issue one, then you should apply before NoA2. If it takes just a one or two weeks, then you just apply after NoA2.

On my experienced getting a police clearance from Taiwan took only 2 weeks before I received. Actually, the first request was rejected bcoz' i sent a $10.00 bank draft and they sent it back the $10 bank draft with a letter saying i need to send a $10 cash, which i did.
