confused, lost and taking forever

hey peeps, got my visa approved last october, waited for about 3-4 months and heard nothing so i phoned the us embassy in london and they said they sent out the necessary forms on dec 2 2007!!! but i didnt receive anything. a week went by and i finally got them. i filled out the forms with all the details and sent them back. the thing is, its been a month now, still not heard anything and dont know what to do now. i have my police certificate, affidavit of support, money and i feel like i should be doing something in the meantime............anyhelp?

I'm a bit confused about what you mean... if you had your visa approved you would have had to hand all of the I-134 and police certificate etc to the embassy then...? Are you saying you haven't receieved your visa yet? As in your passport and the MBE?

Oh and if you fill in your timeline then we will have a better idea of where you are at in your progress :)

Sounds like you had your petition approved. You then had packet 3 sent to you but lost in the mail. You could call the Dept. of State to see if an interview has been set up for you yet. BRB with the #

thanks for the reply guys. im in the uk and its just taking so long. im going to give the embassy a call next week. sorry about the timline thingy, just havent had time to sort it out but its been a good year and 3 or 4 months so far and still thinking i have load of months to go. im getting a bit pissed off really. i feel like theres nothing going to happen. oh well i guess il just have to wait and see what they say on the phone
