OMG, Im getting nervous. I have an issue. Im inactive Hepa B carrier and need no treatment because the viral count is low but then Im still a carrier. I have made my complete Hepa Profile, HBV/DNA, SGPT, liver ultrasound a week ago . I have ready my doctors certificate and my fiance's vaccination card. Do you think it would be a big problem?

I have read about this issue on different forums. You maybe under care or they will ask for more laboratory tests etc. but one thing is for sure you'll never be disregarded and it will not cause visa denial. It may be a good idea if you will bring your previous tests if you have been diagnosed and any certifications you have with regards to the issue. Be honest with the physical examiner and dont worry :) .

God Bless!

I do not think it will be a problem. I have never heard of anyone getting extra testing for being a Hep B carrier at SLEC.

Hi Ivy,

I will have my medical on the 14th of April and will make an update here.

Hopefully we will be okay. Lets just keep a prayer.

Ish

You may want to have an early medical so if worse comes to worse you will have enough time to fix it. Just my thought......

Goodluck on your medical and interview. Don't worry too much i never heard anyone who got denied because of hepa issue.

God bless.....

Amy
