1st edition dan brown book signed

a long long time ago in the land of weird my dad had an online radio talk show and had of all people Dan Brown (you know davinci code) on his show. I'm thinking this was probably 8-10yrs ago when this happened. anyways, I have two first editions of his book digital fortress signed from way back then. they're in perfect condition and I just found them in a box of stuff today. how much money do you think they're worth since he is such a big deal now? I also have a tom clancy book and a few other not so big name ones too.

ok just talked to my dad he said that dan brown actually sent him the books before it was even out to buy in stores. before they changed the cover and stuff. I am so excited

to get the big bucks for a book it needs to be in absolute mint condition - no dog-eared pages, cracks in the spine, etc

I really, really hate Dan Brown. Shittest writer ever to hit the NYT bestseller list, and thats an achievement considering some of the ####### James Patterson puts out. Patterson doesn't even write his own books. Brown doesn't either - his wife does, I believe.

Are you sure its a first, not an advance reader copy or anything like that.

no one ever even read them. they're inside gallon zip lock bags with the rest of the signed books. this is kinda crazy that I found them

how do you tell what printing it is? I see 1st ed. but I don't know what printing. the prices range for which printing.

answered my own question. just wanted to make sure it was a true 1st edition and it is so I'm sitting here with potentially lots of money on my desk. amazing!!!!

thanks alex! I have a few others that are signed first editions too in here. people I've never even heard of. one of them looks to be worth $18. why keep a book I won't read when I can get lots of money for it?
