Our experience was the same - August filer I130 and October filer I129F. We got touched (both cases) when I129F was received by USCIS (we suspect this is when our petitions were joined). No touches after that, NONE, then approval on 11 March. Strength to us all!!

Hi, we are in the same situation, filed in July 2007 with CSC and still waiting . . . You can try to call USCIS and make request about your case #1 800 375-5283. They are supposed to send you answer on delay in mail within several days.

Try to stay up :)

We're in the exact same situation as you guys. We filed in September and we have almost 7 months of waiting. At least we got an RFE for the I-129f..this was 18 days ago...at least they're working on it, right?! We sent back the RFE response after 5 days and we haven't heard from USCIS for almost 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted. I'm happy we're not alone in this.

Hello MAdie, I am in the same boat as you. My I-130 was sent in September and it wasn`t until the end of December that I got my NOA1. NOW I wait and wait and wait for something to happen. I have talked to others who filed in September and have already been approved. It`s very discouraging, especiallyt for my wife who waits patiently in Bucharest. The only good thing I can say is that I know I`ll be seeing her in the summer for our 1st anniversary. This is the most trying thing I have even gone through.

regards,

William

I am also a September filer. I have noticed that those September filers that were already approved are from the California Servic Center which means that Vermont is slow with their I-130. but for the K-1, i have seen lots of approvals for even later than September. This is soooo not fair! K3 should be more important because we are far away from our spouses. K1, they are just beginning their relationship and don't know much about each other, yet they can be together sooner!!!!

TIMELINE: K-3

9/21/07: I-130 received at Chicago

11/14: consul reviewed docs

11/19: i received letter from Senator stating that husband's Visa approved.

So sorry to hear about the Vermont service center, I agree with you, it isn't fair. I call the service center two times a week, I have gotten touches two days in a row for the past two weeks, they said that they put my I-130 and I-129F together and it is being reviewed, I guess they are telling the truth, because both cases are getting touched together, they have been touched yesterday, I am hoping for approval now, not just touches every week like they have been doing.

What I don't understand is why they make things harder for married couples, especially if they see all the documents they asked for, and nothing is missing, why do they have to review them several times, with a dozen touches?

Elijah
