I learn something new everyday. I was reading up on wikipedia and this is my favorite line:

Leaving the island is hit-and-miss; one leaves when transportation happens by, not necessarily when one wishes to go

I want to go and visit.

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

A joke? Nay! Mox takes the whole immigration business very seriously and would never make a mockery of something so important. Its amazing when when considers the unlikihood of meeting a Pitcairnese, let alone falling in love with one! Maybe, if you're lucky, Mox will recount that amazing and inspiring tale of romance to you!

No worries, we Pitcairners are used to not being taken seriously. I'm used to it by now.

Thanks Jeraly for your support of getting our very own Pitcairn Islands forum. I think if a bunch of different people were to PM Captain Ewok and voice their support, he would do it.

Does anyone know if we have to adjust status before we marry? Pleasantly and I would like to get married as soon as possible, so I would like to get started on adjusting status if we need to.

You maybe need to get your vaccinations first. Don't forget to attend the viral pitcairnarius clinic too. I hear it spreads through louses. Were you able to get her fully de-loused? That's pretty important in preventing pitcairnaria.

Yep she was fully de-loused after she got here. She's got some kind of fungal thing going on with her tongue, but I don't think it's anything to worry about.
