Well, the democrats promised the electorate that if they were given both houses that they would control the price of oil .....Someone needs to tutor them as they don't understand the concept that lower prices is better than higher prices! HArry, Nancy, are you listening?

So here it is, two years later, and the prices are even higher! ####### have they been doing?

Yes, it's the Democrats fault...damn dirty liberals.

Yes, damn dirty veto power Mr. BushCo practices whenever his company friends need a hand against Congress.

On one hand, Kaydee asks what the Democrats in Congress are doing about it and then goes on to say that oil prices cannot be controlled....absolutely brilliant. McCain should appoint Kaydee his Secretary of Energy.

I'm not asking what the dems are doing about it but simply pointing out that they said they would wrestle this oil supply problem if elected to both houses.

I'm pointing out that they've done zilch in the two years since they've had both houses.....

I know that neither the President, nor the Congress has much control over the world market cost of oil. They do however have a say in where we explore for oil and the dems have blocked exploration in the most promising and lucrative fields that we currently know of; Florida and Alaska.

Taking away tax incentives from big oil used to fund exploration is counterproductive and makes no sense......hence the well deserved presidential veto.

Villanizing the oil companies is absurd.

Villianizing the Democrats in Congress is absurd. When Bush is promising to veto any attempt to remove a tax break that he has been giving the oil companies is part of why Congress is at a road block. Energy conservation and investing in alternative and renewable energy sources is what Dubbya has paid lip service to, but has done squat...how quaint that you find fault in the Democrats.

No, villains should be vilified. Big Bush let them get away with the same shenanigans to a much smaller scale. Baby Bush is going to go down as the worst President ever. Him and his cronies are leaving us with one hell of a mess.

And BINGO was his name-O.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
