I have a question about travel to the US while the visa application is pending. I am the USC, and my husband is British, although we are currently living and working in Vietnam. We are about halfway through the visa process, just waiting for that interview letter, but we may have to go to the US at the beginning of June. I've read several threads on various websites about this issue, and I know about needing evidence that we will return to Vietnam until the application process is completed. I also realize that my husband might be turned away at immigration in CA if the evidence is not compelling enough.

My question is: If he is sent away, does anyone know if this will have any effect on our visa application?

Thank you so much for your help!!
