does this lead to longer waits overall or does it all even out :(

I swear we have had the worst luck when it comes to the "visa journey"

K1 process

10/05/2006 filled :)

05/03/2007 interview -> AP -> hell -> AP -> 9 months of AP Hell - 2 home visits :(

01/26/2008 visa in hand with a typo :(

02/03/2008 2 weeks more of waiting.... Visa in hand...... :)

2/20/2008 on US soil :)

2/21/2008 marriage :)

This whole visa journey process is a test of inner strength. Only those with calm and patience in their hearts remain sane :)

the bad news is that your case doesn't even start to get processed until you get NOAs, so thats when you start counting days from, so non-NOA days are effectively dead days. If you're on the wrong end of the wrong pile you can be waiting a few weeks. sucks, i know, but its just the way it is.

The good news is that you've done all you can and for the moment there's no need to stress yourselves. Pat yourselves on the back for getting this far with your sanity, and just wait for the process to work its magic

We filed on Feb 12th, our package was signed for on the 18th of the same month. They finally cashed our checks on MARCH 20th.

Like you we were completely panicked. We called our lawyer, USCIS (multiple times) and even saw our congresswoman. Of course the situation was made worse by seeing all these people who filed after us getting NOAs, biometrics appointments and their EADs.

Just wait it out a little longer and your receipts will come. I know it's awful but this does happen to a lot of people.

Just think, when they arrive you will have a whole new thing to worry about. Namely the fact that your receipt numbers don't show up online! :blink:

Seems so....we waited twice as long as you have been so far.

I;m not so sure about those 'dead' days......I seemed have got my AP and EAD approved right on the timeline of having filed Feb 4th...

06/05/2021 - Notification of biometrics scheduled

09/17/2021 - Interview - decision cannot be made

12/24/2021 - Motion to terminate deportation proceedings from 2013 filed
