Hi all.

Just wanted to see who else is in the same boat as us having filed our I-130 to Vermont on September 10th. We received NOA-1 on Dec 27th. We then received NOA-1 for the I-129f on Jan 18th 2008.

From the sound of things we should be receiving NOA-2 for out I-130 any time very soon. Had Vermont not put the dates back we should have had it now. Just wanted to see where others of you are with your application at Vermont so we can have a better idea of what is going on. Although at times it seems like pot luck as to who get their NOA-2 with lots of later filers getting approved before us! Oh well.

So who else out there fits this timeframe at Vermont?

You can throw us into the mix as well. Filed I-130 with VSC September 21, Received NOA1 on Jan.4. Have a congressional inquiry going on as I am typing this. Not sure if it will do any good, but it sure as Hell cant hurt. If not I better brush up on my Spanish, looks like I might just have to move to Spain if I want to live with my wife.

Maybe I am an a**hole, but I fnd it very hard to be happy for the petitioners who filed after we did, one even 2 months after our date, and they get approved. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way or the only one who will say it. Will let you know if anything comes from the congressional inquiry.

I bet you almost everyone feels that way. I get really pissed off when I hear that things are not going in order at USCIS and filers after us get approved. Am not annoyed with the people, its not their fault, it's the system thats broken. Well according to the processing dates at Vermont we should be anytime now so fingers crossed. I will see what happens in the next month (we should hear by then) and what dates Vermont come out with for processing in April. If nothing by then I will ask my wife to get her congressman involved.

Cornishman, as I said in the other post, I have your timeline and I have seen nothing. NOTHING. No touches nothing. I don't know what to believe anymore. Stay in touch man. If they "touch" either of our cases we'll know they have awoken. Good luck.

No still no approval and feeling very stressed about it right now. I think what is stressing me is that so many others who filed after us are getting approved. Where is the sense in that?! Good on them, not their fault. They have obviously had some good luck and we appear to be in the slowest moving pile.

So once this part is done and we have approval does anyone know what timeframe we should realistically expect from approval at Vermont to interview? I am thinking a month ish at the NVC and then a couple at the consulate - so around 3 months or so. Does that sound about right?

Heres to getting our deserved approvals soon - we have waited long enough!

Cheers all

i think once we get the noa2 from VERMONT, then we move to NVC and stay there for an avg of 70 days, then to counsulate.. maybe a month there...i think we r lookin at 3-5 months to interview.. after our approval.. which is fine .. i mean we waited this long to get NOA1 now another few wil not kill me, to complete the actualy imigration process for my husband although having him here with me soon would be a blessing.. i am nnot losing hope.. but i have not been touched since 2/24/08... i even added a mobile alert on my phone, to know when i get an email from CRIS about an approval...

yall should do it too.. i did mine through yahoo... atleast we will know when we look at our phone.. omygosh an email from CRIS!! fingers crossed haha...

You're not wrong! I could deal with 3-5 months too. No problem, just so long as we actually knew what was going on. We have waited this long so a a can do a few more - not too many more though. Its the not knowing that is stressing me out, I have been really stressed the last couple of days. But, we have to keep positive. And we need our approvals now! Just not fair that others have jumped over us. Bollocks!

Well - if I hear anything I will post it - and then go and drink a few beers!

Cheers

I guess your turn is next ...........after seeing your approval list...Hope VSC approves both k3 and 130 at the same time that saves some time and effort ....not looking back same person's file once one is approved..USCIS ppl got to think twice and understand the pain that we are going through....:crying::angry::blink::wacko::whistle:

 I thought VSC was back on the I-130's and we'd be seeing alot more approvals coming, but i see a trickle sporadically and without order. CSC seems to be slowing a little too, but at least they are in well into october even november. Do you think it would help to start gathering signatures of all those behind as a way to pressure VSC? Just a thought.. what do you all think? :pop:

 I thought VSC was back on the I-130's and we'd be seeing alot more approvals coming, but i see a trickle sporadically and without order. CSC seems to be slowing a little too, but at least they are in well into october even november. Do you think it would help to start gathering signatures of all those behind as a way to pressure VSC? Just a thought.. what do you all think? :pop:

YA I KNOW CSC SLOWED DOWN ALOT.. and i dont know whats up with VSC.. i gues it has its moments.. and u see approvals and then nothing for a few dayss...

i gues we shoudl wait til mid april to see if we get approved... then start doing somehtin.. since we will reach our 6 month mark?
