Over the last year or so i've tried every which way to analyze every number reported by the uscis but the only thing that remains certain ...is the uncertainty!

this is what has been driving me CRAZY!!!!

Every time when I see a few of unfortunate cases that have been pending nearly for 1 year,

it makes me think what if my case will be pending that long too!?

It's frustrating because I will have to renew my contract at work soon but I don't know

when I can get NOA2 so I can't even make a plan for my work......

Well, it is still July and it is too early for me to be depressed!!!!!

Hi Everyone!

I haven't been active on this forum at all, but I have been obsessively checking my USCIS account and updates to the forum. And I've been excited to hear about your touches...well...exciting news!

I had to go on a trip to rural Oman for the past 3 days and didn't have access to email, but when I returned...and email stating our case was approved was waiting in my Inbox!!

We are listed as "Simo and Lizzie" on Igor's list, our NOA1 was 4/21 and the last touch that I had heard of was on 5/21, but we were approved on Monday 7/21, with no touches last week!!

We have the same NOA1 and touches so im assuming our's will be next(oh lord please let it be)..

Im happy for you its nice to see that approvals are keep on comming...

Nico... think positive... think approval!!! I would be ecstatic with a touch!!!

S&D, I understand your concern completely! The truth is the majority of petitions are approved within a timely manner...allbeit disorderly ... and those stuck in security checks for a long time are few and far between. It is so difficult being stuck in this limbo. I'm sure even moreso when you're just waiting to get over here and start anew. Don't lose hope tho... it's very common to be a couple of weeks behind the newer filers you see being approved. I'm assuming an adjuticator with a box from late March went on vacation or something seeing the group of filers with your noa1 date, or thereabouts, still waiting. Quite unfair... but it happens all the time. I have my fingers crossed that you hear something today!

I guess i've reached the stage where i'm not checking for touches and approvals constantly. I'm not sure if i'm tired of the disappointment or just fed up with checking ...maybe that means something good?

I check the USCIS website about twice a week at the most. It will drive you nuts otherwise.

Hello everyone. How is everyone doing? things have been going pretty fast for me. I called the NVC yesterday and was told my case left on monday and looks like it will arive on friday. Also not sure if everyone knows about this but Dbears on the forums told me about this thread that will show you how to track your case from the NVC to your embassy. see the below thread

I am almost on that stage Kim..Lol..Yesterday i checked it 3x ..Today once only..does that sound fair enough??!!!I dont know..Just dont want to put myself into a position where i get depressed not seeing any changes on it...but im pretty sure our's will be next..Hope and faith are all I have got for now coz im really getting short on the "patience' thingy..hehehe..

If the former adjuticator's description and Dale's analysis of the procedures are true we who were 'double' touched soon after could very well be in that 'touchy' adjuticator's box!
