I know how you feel Kim! Its become my new time waster at work....checking VJ hoping to see a flurry of approvals! I feel like I'm in the slowest moving queue ever!

Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you will.

Hi Kim. Hi April.

I see there's another April from last week just now showing up on Igor, so that counts. Yee Leng & Joseph

I have a new theory somebody can analyze. Gender of who prepared the packet. Hmmm? It looks like alot of the ones skipped over were prepared by males. That would be the second name listed in Igor. What do you think? Like Bex and Alan and Highway :star: , the guys both sent in the wrong amount and got the petition delayed. If they miss something that big, then maybe they sorta put their petitions together slap-dash in other ways and it takes a little longer to check. Whatcha think? Oh, I'm being so bad here. Sorry guys. And it looks like there's alot more men as petitioners anyway. BUT maybe there's some conclusions to draw.......

Well, just trying to give you some BS to occupy your thoughts before you go mad and wear out your keyboard checking USCIS.

Another mystery to ponder is why has nobody who sent a July petition to either service center received a NOA1 yet? Nobody as of this morning. That is weird and I feel really sorry for them because they're in the blackest of black holes wondering what's going on.

Well here's to your sanity. I know exactly how you feel, but you're making progress.

 Good Vibes~~~~~ to VSC for all of you waiting.

That is very strange.

Also for the people who do not know. Igor is just a sort/query of this data.

My guess, as it's been all along, is that the April deadline for the H1B visas slowed us up. Those are all decided now so perhaps they are finishing up which is why we've seen an increase in approvals the past couple of weeks. Hopefully that will continue for summer filers! ;) Just my luck really. The only problem with that assumption is that the H visas come through each year at this time and it's not slowed the K1's down before... also I read somewhere that the adjuticators who process K1's don't process the H1B's...but who really knows? So many changes with the USCIS in the last year so it's hard to know for sure what's going on or what's going to happen with processing times.... I do tend to agree with you as far as some of those still waiting... perhaps an RFE or some extra scrutiny, but then you have to ask yourself why wouldn't they at least send out the request notice.... it's like torture for these poor folks. :( Dale got his in a timely manner so it makes you wonder. The whole thing is just such a ####### shoot. It could very well be that those still waiting from the end of March are just stuck in a box of the slowest adjuticator in Vermont. Wouldn't be the first time. I'm all for fairness and doing things in order... and i'm definately for CSC processing as fast as VSC. It's only fair really. Having been tracking all of this for almost a year now and through the backlog, I have certainly seen an abundance of uncertainties.... I guess that's why nothing surprises me anymore. I do wish those who filed before us good news this week! Even if it means we have to wait.

dale, this is the timeline that I rely on most and check several times throughout the day. I like Igor's list too but the numbers mean little to me. ;)

Regarding the lack of NOA1's.... no clue. The people who process the petitions are not the adjuticator's... perhaps they are constructing a new system and we're the guinea pigs? I know how much it meant to finally get that petition sent out and to have confirmation that it was in the works. I certainly feel for those folks. Hopefully their short wait for approvals will make up for it. ;)

Yes mine was the same except I only used Vermont.

And on a happy note.

cute pics- shes got such nice hair!

I've been through my own albums too many times already- verging on obsessed lol.

My own gripy thought I'd like to share- how long does it really have to take em to approve a petition?? My theory is that it could be done in a matter of days- someone check the paperwork, run checks, get it ready for mailing- should be a WEEK maximum!! I feel they must be short staffed- and wish that a few billion would be diverted from the other things like war, and channeled into employing more caseworkers so that people in love don't have to be kept apart for insane periods of time. I'd like to see a SURPLUS of caseworkers :) An army of them, with reserves that they can call in when they get more petitions than expected!

It would be MY priority if I was president lol.....

Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you will.

This Q & A by a former adjuticator explains the process very well. I believe he stated it was about 15 minutes. Makes it that much worse, doesn't it? :(

Great pics Dale, thanks for sharing. :)
