I got my Birth Certificate today, went to my registry office , waited about 20 minutes paid the fee (cost me 13.50) and the woman went away for 10 minutes and came back and gave me it, It is definetly the long one .

Thanks for the info Bex & GauraD, the next step will be the police certificate, I to will wait until my NOA2!. Jeez its like applying for a passport all over again! haha

25/12/2007- Steven Proposed, and gave me a lovely Ring!

29/02/2008- Sent I-129F to VSC

22/09/2008-1pm - Recieved Visa!

04/11/2008 -Steven comes back to Scotland for the Celebrations!

09/11/2008- We return home together!

23/01/2009- Wedding!!!

Your I-129f was approved in 108 days from your NOA1 date.

Preparing AOS Forms.

09/4/2009- Sent AOS

11/4/2009- Received and signed for

20/4/2009- Received NOA for AOS/EAD/AP (Dated April 17th)

20/4/2009- USCIS cashed check for $1010

09/5/2009- Biometrics

11/5/2009- Case transferred to CSC

05/6/2009- Received AP

09/6/2009- Received EAD

22/7/2009- Approved!

27/7/2009- Greencard in Hand

Removal of Conditions.

15/5/2011- Received @ VSC

23/5/2011-NOA1

12/07/2011- Biometrics

Luis is having a problem with his birth certificate. They spelled his last name wrong & since his mom didn't know how to read, when he was born it stayed like that. He's mad cause everytime he calls them they say to call on Monday. LOL

Ay Dios mio!!!!!!! hahaha

I told him that it sounds like civil service here in NY too. I told him what the DMV is like and he says its worse than our DMV in that office. I doubt that. I told him the DMV was like hell and that he would see when he goes there. :wacko:

I hate sitting there for an hour watching everybody's # show up on the screen except mine.

How's everybody doing on this fine Wednesday?

Yes and I am to the point, I am checking this site no less than 20x a day!!!!!!

So.. ok, Im going to go out on a limb here.. Im not going to check the site for

a week.. Jamerson says Im driving myself nuts by counting the seconds.. not just

the days. So congrats in advance to whomever gets approved and I will be back on

Wednesday, July 23..!

(as I am typing this, my 14 yo daughter walked by and said.. "I dont think you can do it!")

Hahaha, that is too funny... I stalk the website - I can't help it.... I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone!! There is no way I could go a day without checking it, but I give credit to you for not checking it for a week!

I decided to have some time away from VJ today as well. Just a good ole mental health day really. Time to regroup!

Does seem as though the approvals come the beginning of the week. Also seems to be that they have a surge of approvals before annoucing the new estimated dates that they publish on their website. Interesting... whatever the case .. we're all about due!

Still nothing.. And getting close to the four-month mark. I wonder whether it would be any use if Michael called VSC and asked why people who filed later than us are being approved... What do you think?

Personally I dont think you will get a satisfactory answer, they have always approved out of order its not unusual.

It will come soon..

I am quite sure we won't get any answer... I just wonder what could be wrong with our petition. Sorry to be so anxious, but I am sure everyone here will understand. We already lost two months at the beginning, and I really hoped to have that approval before Michael comes here next week.

I am sorry to be blunt but just because you havent received the approval it doesnt mean there is something wrong with it.

Approvals are coming in around your dates it will come but this process requires patience.
