Thanks Dale, I felt like I needed something to keep me strong today. That did it! Our number is EAC08143... so not too far off! It's getting harder each day, isn't it? I can't imagine having lost time due to someone else's incompetence on top of it. It is what it is I suppose and I guess we just keep our eyes on the prize! :)

Good morning to everyone else. I hope you're all trying to stay positive and that we all hear some good news very soon!

hi our receipt number is: EAC08142.... last touched was May 22...we'r almost in the same boat..goodluck to us!!!

Discouraged

Desperate

Depressed

I feel like I fight with myself every day! Not to fall down that hill! Why is this getting harder?

He's discouraged, Im depressed and we are getting desperate.

I know that we have so much this to look forward to.. but not knowing when is killing me. It is becoming increasingly

difficult to focus on the positives, to focus on the future, when we are so tired of being apart.

Weekends are the worst.

Im too busy with school during the week. (Im in my last year of nursing school- full time) and with the kids activities

to be depressd longer than it takes me to fall asleep.(ABOUT 3 seconds after my head hits th pillow)

But the weekends UGH .. they kill me.

So yes, I pathetically agree, that I want it to be Monday!

I'm still trying to be the 'strong one' as i've got my kids and my work and my house.. ....he's there just waiting. I think it's harder because we know it's closer. ;)

When I start to feel like i'm just going to crumble and can't hold on.... I often think about that moment that I am able to leap into his arms after he gets off the plane in Boston. How in that moment we will know that we never have leave each other again. Even after 10 long years and all we have been through... THAT is the moment we have worked toward. The thought alone takes my breath away and fills my heart with so much joy I can barely stand it! Knowing that moment is not so far off now... keeps me going.

Wishing you all happy thoughts. :)

ONCE again, Kim talks "another one" off the ledge. hahahahaha

I think when he starts "falling apart" and I have to be the strong one.. thats when days later I start to fall apart

I guess I should look on the bright side.. at least we are taking turns- falling apart

This waiting.. is getting old, my friends... I hope to see some more april approvals this week.

even if its not mine.. although that would be extra nice.

HAPPY THOUGHTS, HAPPY THOUGHTS, HAPPY THOUGHTS, HAPPY THOUGHTS..

I think the best thing you can do is to STAY BUSY!!! Time will go by so much faster, and one day you will wake up to an NOA2 approval, and it will all be worth it. You do not have much longer to go. I think you will get your approval this month, (if VSC is still going at the same speed)

If you haven't already, start gathering the other papers you will need, get things ready so you can start as soon as you get your NOA2. Start planning what you are gonna do for your wedding and honeymoon. Talk to moving companies, most of them give free estimates on how much it will cost to move your stuff. Just try to stay busy.

Just trying to figure out some things. Sunday afternoon and have nothing better to do than stress over the K1...haha. Anyway I'm trying to see if anyone knows anything about getting a police record in Brazil. My fiance has lived in Rio since August of 2003 and before that Minas Gerais. So I'm guessing he will have to get reports from both states? Does anyone know when he should try to get these and how long they are valid for? Thanks.

And hoping to see more action with approvals this week.....Best of Luck April filers!!!

Hi Krystle, My fiance lives in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais)- He has to get the state Police report as well as Federal police report. I think Rio is in another state other than Minas, right? So for him would be 2 states? plus Federal? Not sure if he needs both states, but at least one state and one federal. They The consulate website tells quite a bit. Have you been there?

Thanks! Yes I have been there. It looks like he will need one from both states and the federal one. I guess my main concern is wether or not we should be getting these now or wait until after NOA2. Just don't want any delays. I'm going to visit in October and hoping that we may have the interview and visa while I'm there (I return October 20). I know, I know.....LOTS OF HOPE.

awwwww!! I know it's hard, but I have to say I'm surprised, I haven't been too depressed, I love Luis and miss him more than anything and I'm always thinking "I wish he was doing this with us" like on the 4th of July when we saw fireworks and had a big BBQ and the only thing missing was him.

The reason I'm not depressed probably is because we have so much fun joking around when we're on the phone, distracting ourselves. I like to remind him of funny stuff that happened when we were together or even now. He's in school learning English and he's been going for a month and the most complex sentance he can say is "I like your pants" LMAO. He says it's my fault cause I'm a poor excuse for a foreign language teacher (I'm going to be a spanish teacher for all of you who didn't know that).

Work, school, my kids and our daily laugh sessions keep me happy. I know I'm going to be 100% happier when he's here, so I can't even imagine what it's going to be like. I'm only worried about my 3-year-olds making him nuts, hahaha. Payback for when he makes me nuts. :)

Hang in there ~ we're going to keep in touch and you guys are going to be telling me all sorts of funny stuff that happens when you 2 are together in the states. This goes for ALL of you. Let's keep this thread going for a LONG time through AOS, removing conditions and citizenship. We're like a little family! hehe

Take care guys,

Suzy

 that gave me such a giggle!

We have a lot of fun too and, you're right, it does help. ;) Although I have noticed more silence... followed by more sighs...

Let's hope this is a good week for everyone!

LOL what's funny is that he learned some new stuff on Saturday in class and he was practicing with me last night on the phone and he told me that "My father is a house wife." LOL I think that he was just putting together words from the word bank b/c he is learning is and are and stuff like that. It's awesome. He also told me his brother was a business man. Funny thing is that his brother doesn't work, or do anything for that matter.

Love it! I was funny too when I was learning "correct" spanish so we get to crack jokes on each other.
