Good morning April waving.gif

Fernanda... keep that glass half full girl!

It's getting rough over here too and my poor baby is going stir crazy on the other side of the world :( ... so i'm working hard at changing my attitude and keeping some perspective as we wait. It's easier to do when you know your love is suffering, no? My turn to be the strong one! ;)

K people, there is enough sadness and despair going on for all of us. We need some HAPPY!!!! ;)

So, this is your mission if you choose to accept it.... and this goes out to all filers.. not just April. We're all in this.

I want to know your happy thoughts. What keeps you going? What makes you happy? What is your happiest memory of your SO? Anything that gives you warm fuzzies and reminds you of all the reasons you're on this journey in the first place... share it with us and hopefully we can replace some of this negative energy with positive....

Every time I get sad I think of that moment he is walking through the gates at Logan airport... again. As we've done so many times ....except this time he's home to stay! Leaping into his arms and causing a scene  ...and then a few days of just him and I locked away in a beautiful room in Boston...away from the rest of the world and opening a new chapter to our lives together! :) Our wedding will be special but THAT is the day that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

HiTech does that mean have them all registered on USCIS ?? To be honest I would feel really uncomfortable if I thought someone had done that with our receipt number. I know there is no personal info but its a little close to the line. I'd hate to think that my NOA2 had been broadcast on here before Alan and I had even had chance to open the email.

I hope everyone is well today. Kim I wrote a lovely little story to cheer you up and then deleted it (insert: emoticon with a little black cloud above its head. ) I will write something new when I get home.

It keeps me going to know it is so close.

And the thought of going through security at Orlando´s airport with him, going somewhere nice for a honey moon. It´s just that every single time I went trought security there I was crying so hard the security guards would actually ask me if I was alright... I didn´t have strenght and I wished I could lay down right there and cry instead of taking my shoes off... Hahahahhaha! So going throught security WITH him is going to sooooo happy!!!! Weird, I know!

Speaking of that, anybody ready to ruin my happy thought and tell me how long I´ll have to wait to be able to leave the US once I make it there? Hahahahhahaha! It´s ok, I´ll handle it thinking of another happy thought.

Fernanda, shouldn't be that long. If you get married right after your arrival and than file AOS right away, AP (advance parole) should be sent to you in 90 days. For some ppl it was even sooner than that.

Ha! I caused quite a scene in the middle of JFK last time we had to say good byes :). Makes me smile now, but man was it devastating at the moment. What makes me going? Most of all the thought that after all those trials we will have the rest of our lives to spend together. I'm really looking forward to all those "wifely" things to do around our place, times with our friends and of course our wedding :).

By the way Kim, thanks for a great idea for the posts. Really made me think on a positive side today :)

Kim, you're so totally cool! I have a simple warm fuzzy. We hang out together on the phone alot since we have free calling. Yesterday he was going to make some tea and said in his best British butler impersonation, "Can I get Madam a cappuccino or coffee?" The warm fuzzy is knowing he really will do such sweet, thoughtful things for me. I've spent my life happily doing things for people and not wanting anything in return. I've found somebody who wants to tend to me and it just makes me smile inside because I feel so loved.

Michael and I meet on MSN every day when he gets up in the morning (6 EST, 12 my time), and we spend the weekend together like that. Every evening I write him an email and tell him about my day, and he responds when he gets home from work. A warm, fuzzy feature of our everyday interaction is telling each other about any cats we may have seen, or sometimes sending each other links to videos or sites featuring kitties. We are both big cat (and animal) lovers, and are planning to get at least two kitties when we finally have our life together. Sometimes, when we have the weekend for ourselves, we look at furniture online, and discuss what we'd like to get for our new home.

He's coming to see me in one month's time, in order to spend his birthday (July 25) with me... We won't have a long time to spend together, but it will be enough.. And hopefully NOA2 will have already happened by then!

No one could broadcast this unless you posted your receipt number. All the information disclosed on the USCIS is 100% public information, and you could receive this information threw the freedom of information act simply by writing a request for it. With out any information about who the visa is for, the receipt number is completely arbitrary.
