She e-mail me again and clarify all and YES we are approved! She gave me all the medical information and Nico will have his physical on Monday and we will be mailing packet 3 on tuesday :)

Hi Sandra. Do you have the telephone number of the doc who needs to do the medical? Maybe she/he'll have some official forms available that can be used ... But this is just me guessing of course.

Good luck! :star:

The embassy e-mail me and gave me the list of doctors. My fiance called and he will have his medical on Monday !!! :)

Thanks :)

Hello to all:

Congratulations to all of this week approval!

I’m really crossing my fingers for you Kim!!!

My fiancé received packet 3 and no medical instructions and I e-mail the lady from the consular in Montevideo – Uruguay on Monday. Still no response …. I’m desperate and I don’t know what to do :S

I’m having anxiety attacks and my previous surgery is bothering and I have to go to the specialist and my company stills working on my health insurance…

I hope my day gets better… this morning I had an argument with a friend so… its hectic and we work together

My best wishes to all.

Love

Sandra

Sandra,

You should try giving them a call, I have heard that some embassies / consulates don't respond very well to their e-mails (while others do). I would just explain that you feel that your packet was sent incomplete and if they could kindly send the medical instructions to your fiancee that would be great.

Good luck & I'm sorry about your surgery / fight with your friend. When it rains, it pours right? Don't worry things will get better.

~ Suzy

Thank you Suzy :)

I'm feeling much better, I been with a lot of stress. Yesterday I was able to get a response from the embassy and my fiance will have his medical on Monday! :)

Sandra :)

OMG KIM - at first i didnt believe it- was just reading through the posts and saw someone say 'congrats kim' and I think 'huh?' where, what?? AHH! Then I realize its for real and I felt so happy for you- and this surprising feeling of relief lol! :star:

Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you will.

S&D... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I did see this last night and it just made my smile even wider!!! I'm soooooooooooooo happy for you too!!!!

Kim

I'm taking time out from my uber-intensive course to post this congratulatory message - well done you!!!!!!!!!

This is the only time I will post on here this week - consider yourself honoured!!!!!!!!!!

Ooooo... well I am honored and deeply humbled that you would take the time out of your busy day to congratulate us kind sir. ;)

Hey all, how long does it take to get NOA2 hardcopy? I still haven't recieved

Jon, all depends where you live in relation to Vermont I think. How long did it take for the NOA1? I sure hope they're not holding the approvals up as well. I plan on sending out my package to Russell just as soon as I can make a copy of my hardcopy.

Well #######...I'm 12 hours late for the PARTY

GO KIM GO RUSS

Pass the tequila. :star: Belly up the bar folks. :star: Drinks are on me.

Love ya Kim. (L) Congratulations.

mmmm tequila! Thank you mama Nich... for everything. :) love ya back kind lady!

Sandra, how exciting for you!!! I'm glad you're moving right along. :)

Thank you so much to everyone else. It really means a lot to be able to share our excitement with so many wonderful people who truly know what we've been through. It's not over yet folks! ;) But oh how much sweeter the process will be now that we can at least be in each others arms! :)

I'm not sure how much sleep I got last night but I seem to have a permanent grin stuck on my face now. Russell didn't end up online until 5:30am est this morning so that's when he found out and nearly ran out of his house naked to share it with his family. Of course, I wanted to share it with him so I got up and we chatted a bit...he's walking around with an extra spring in his step and grinning all the way as well. :) We're both just ecstatic this part is over with! I'm very well prepared for the next step... just need to have the avidavit notorized on Monday and put some other things together then wait on the Noa2. Russell will call for his medical as soon as we have our new case number and then he will contact the Embassy about expediting the interview (possible in NZ ;) ). Wont be long now!

Had another check-up this morning since my blood pressure was high. My blood pressure is down and so is my weight (11 pounds in 3 weeks!). ;) The doctor knows about our visa journey so she was thrilled for us as well and agreed that, even though it was ok, today probably wasn't the best day to check my bp.

Only one thing missing now.... SUZY... BRIAN... am I forgetting anyone???? I will hold vigil until I hear some happy news from you guys who have been so great to all of us along the way! ;)

Thanks again friends.

I don't think the hardcopy of the NOA2 is needed for the interview, unless it's a quirky thing at a particular embassy. It is needed for the AOS is my understanding.

Yea, that's all I'm waiting on :) got everything else together....

I think it took about 6-7 days for the NOA1 hardcopy. I am in GA. So may in the next couple days...

So you should have it any time now. :)

If I don't have the hardcopy by the time i'm ready to send the package next week i'll just scan it when I do have it and create a pdf that he can print at home since you only need a copy anyway. ;) If yours isn't there soon you could just do the same.
