Well in Limbo at the moment. Trying to figure out the next step really.

I can't tell you how much I want to kick someone in the balls at USCIS for not looking at the $250K + in assets that my sweet husband has.

I just can't even think about it...my 31st Birthday is coming up soon and we were supposed to go to Puerto Rico, but we are stuck here now because my drivers license is about to be expired and I need the EAD to renew it....

It's crazy frustrating when you know other people's jobs better than they do :lol:

The guys is still fine with filling out the I-864 though? Just think that as long as you get the RFE out, it's no longer in your hands.

That is some crazy bad timing though.

I emailed the list of things to him and he is getting his accountant to get the taxes. Yeeeah

In exchange i am going German Shepherd dog shopping with his g/f tomorrow, to help with the protection of his house....I will help train her too which I am VERY excited about.

I just recieved an email that they sent the approval notice, so I should get it any day now. At least this, because it looks like I will have to wait for my interview date little longer, since my case isn't even tranfered do Chicago yet. But for now I'm happy with my EAD.

I'm pleased to tell you that I received my interview letter today - it is for September 15 in Detroit.

Congratulations! Hopefully you will be done with your AOS process in a month and can finally relax :) And you will get 10 year GC, too!

They don't notify for transfers to local offices, just CSC it seems (or perhaps other service centers?)

Did they never notify you of the transfer from Chicago to Detroit?

I really don't think they do, but when I called 1-800 number, I asked if my file was still in Missouri or if it was transferred to my local office already and they told me that it is still at NBC. So I guess you can inquire every now and then and ask what is going on.

I got my interview letter by the end of Setember (30), I tought it was forgotten somehow, I think we all have this feeling. In the letter nothing was asked to bring to the interview, there is some documents and they check a square if needed, but yeah, I will bring all the papers from the petition, photos and more.

So I feel this month a lot Aprils petitions will roll again.
