Thanks ellla! YES, that's true, I can rest from uscis and concentrate on my family and job I have just got. I have had a couple of days at my new place and I see it is going to be busy :blink: But I like it much more than sitting at home :D what I have been doing all these 6 months :whistle:

Called UCIS agian today and they told us to request an info pass. I guess we are going to have to do that. She told me that we would should be able to get interiem EAD permit for 244 days. I doubt it, but I sure hope so.

Have you already started your job search?

No, not yet, since I had no idea when my EAD would be approved. Now I can finally start looking, although we have some plans for next couple of weeks (a trip, and then my 30th b-day), so most likely I would like to start working after that. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I will be able to get out of the house and start making some money soon, it would definitely help me to deal with this stressful AOS process.

Another proof that costumer's representatives not always know what they are talking about, local offices don't issue interim EAD anymore. When I went for my infopass the lady that I talked to was mean, when I told her that I was there about my I-765 application, she said that they have absolutely nothing to do with it. But I think the infopass helped, when she finally called and talked to somebody from NBC. I think you should definitely make an appointment.

Congratulations for all the recent approvals - Ella, Sunnylight etc. Steph and Chris39, hang in there, things will start moving for you.

I'm pleased to tell you that I received my interview letter today - it is for September 15 in Detroit. Until then my full time job will be to put together all the documents and a photo album, including pictures from our wedding, it's been two years since then and we don't have an album :bonk: everything's on the computer.

Anyway, wishing everyone the best of luck in this process.
