I had my InfoPass today, they called NBC and found out that my case is being processed right now and I should hear something really soon. The IO didn't want to give me a timeframe, she said that she didn't want to say "One week" and I would be dissapointed if it wasn't there on time, but it will be soon. She also said that everything looks ok and "in good shape".

I feel a little better now, at least my case is not lost and they are working on it now. Hopefully it won't be much longer for EAD, we'll see.

I feel a little better now, at least my case is not lost and they are working on it now. Hopefully it won't be much longer for EAD, we'll see.

at least it's not on hold or something horrendous like that. and if they working on it and you haven't gotten an rfe that's a good sign!

We have similiar timelines, except we have a RFE. Hope you hear soon.

Our NOAs are dated 30 April, so I guess we made the cutoff for this forum... just barely! I hope to start seeing people receive their AOS approvals, it's our turn next, right?

Looks like our timelines finally made it to the top of the stack at USCIS. Congrats on all of the approvals. Now I guess the worrying can stop and focusing on other things can begin.

On another note, any advice on the best approach to getting jobs when you have no US work experience, and references are hard to check when they are 8000 miles away?

47 AP approvals, 59 EAD approvals, 47 transfers, 13 interview date and....

26 GC approvals out of 110 filers :dance:

Legend:

E --- EAD approved, A --- AP approved, Pink --- case transferred, Blue --- interview date fixed, Red --- GC approved

I had to give up using :star: for GC approvals, since this posting system doesn't allow too much emoticons at a time. :crying: Well, in other words, the number of GC approvals is getting bigger :thumbs:

My EAD was approved July 30th and they sent me an e-mail that said card production ordered, then today, August 4th, they sent me another e-mail that says:

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 4, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I am just curious if the letter they mailed is just the approval notice but not the EAD card, from your experience guys what does this mean? haha I am just so anxious to receive my card and I can't wait to see it.

No, they mailed only a Work Authorization Card , that is EAD card. It should arrive soon in the mail! Good luck with ur job search!

Shaner's greencard arrived on Saturday!!! I guess we can take a break now for a while. I have no idea what we have to do in 2 years - and I don't care, at least not yet.

Here's hoping everyone waiting gets approvals soon!

7/29/08 - received email: card production ordered

As for me, I'm still waiting for my welcome letter and the GC!

But the good news, my prospect employer (the company that hold the position for me till i get the GC) called and told me to visit for salary offer! (eventhough I still don't have my GC in hand). She said since it will be soon and guaranteed that my card will arrive in 30days (based on CRIS notice) they are willing to give me the salary offer now!

Aug 08-PREGNANT! Jan 09 -UPDATE! It's A BOY!

MAy 17 09 - Baby James Anthony born!!

I-129f was approved in 131 days from filing date.

Iinterview took 197 days from I-129F filing date.

Congratulations on your job offer! It won't take 30 days for the card to arrive, I think, anyway you can be very relieved now :dance::thumbs:
