Congratulations Masha, Starlarose, English Muffin and Mrs. Jaz!!

PAR-TY!!!

Ella, don't worry - it's coming!!

BTW, Ali e Jef, where did you get all kinds of neat smileys? :)

Meanwhile, I got transferred to CSC this morning!!! :D That is with my 2nd biometrics still pending (going tomorrow)... Weird.. Hope there are no RFE's to come!

I also got 2 "EAD ordered" e-mails (1 week apart)... Wondering if they messed it up and didn't order the card on July 2 and updated it again on July 14 when it was actually ordered, or something... Hope it's not the case

Hi everyone!

I got 2 emails today stating that the EAD and AOS approval letters were sent. Does this mean a letter or the cards?

Thanks!

As for EAD I am sure it is a card, not a letter, as I have received one too. What concerns AOS it must be a GC though not sure as I am still waiting for my approval.

Finally! got mail from CRIS - AP approval notice sent dated July 12 2008. Where is the EAD though :crying:

Congratulations, PARUL !!! EAD is on its way !!!

Congratulations on your transfer !Wishing you a fast approval !!!

Wow! Congratulations to all the approvals. Happy dance time again :dance::dance:

My AP was approved in 80 days. Thats a bit longer than the average. No news of EAD yet. I am only concerned a bit coz it would have helped to get it before Daniel leaves on the 28th to apply for my drivers license. It will seem kinda funny to drive to the DMV by myself and apply for a license so I can drive back

In the meantime, just counting days now. went to Galveston for Daniel's birthday. Both of us are baked and tanned. D got a few sunburns too. Dogs are recovering from the heat too

Chris, I'm in the same boat as you, filed concurrently with I-130, no news yet. The RFE slowed me down, I'm just praying that the 90 day-clock for EAD has not been reset when they received the RFE. Best of luck!

Congrats Lynie!!!

Here is my update:

Got an e-mail this morning saying EAD Approval Notice has been sent - hoping the card is in that envelope

Also got my biometrics re-done at 9 am today.

Our home is in Ohio and there was no way we could make it to Cleveland on a business day cause Michael is working here in Chicago.

Last time this happened (with my first biometrics) we were just leaving New Jersey (thought we'd be there for at least a year, but the company moved us temporarily to Chicago office) so we decided to register at home.

My first Biometrics was scheduled in Newark, NJ and we ended up doing a walk-in in Cleveland, OH earlier as we'd left Jersey by then. They took me in no problem, even though we showed up 9 days prior to appointment date.

My 2nd Biometrics was scheduled in Cleveland, OH this time but, like I said, we wouldn't be able to make it. So we went ASC in Naperville, IL as soon as we got the Notice (1 week prior to appointment) and were told that we could do it here but only on the date and time scheduled. Thank God I didn't have to fly to Cleveland!

So we went there this morning as scheduled and got it done in 15 minutes total. They didn't take my picture this time though.

Hoping we won't have to redo it again

P.S. I also updated my signature counting days, so it's easier to read.

Congrats, seems you didn't need the second biometrics for the EAD afterall. Could it be they misplaced your first set of biometrics when your file was transferred?
