Hi guys!

Greetings to all who got approvals in the last 2 weeks!

Hope you all had a great 4th!!

I thought I'd update you on how things are going for me...

You know how in every bunch there is always an odd one out.. The one that everything goes wrong for.. Well, here I am

Last time I posted was when we got an e-mail from CRIS saying RFE was sent.

Had to wait a whole week for it to arrive in mail so we could find out what it was. Turned out they wanted financial evidence. We sent copies of the evidence we originally submitted and added some more papers (pay slips, etc.) on top with a response letter attached and mailed it out.

On July 2nd got an e-mail from CRIS confirming our response was received and my case processing was resumed. That made us feel a little better but not for long...

On July 5th we got an ASC Notice in mail saying that FBI was not able to process my fingerprints and that they needed them re-scanned!!! Appointment scheduled for 16th of July... #######...!!!

I have no idea how much this is going to delay things for us. Trying to find out more. Meanwhile nothing is happening with my EAD and AP...

Hey everyone, I'm an April filer as well. So far we're waiting as I've just sent back an RFE (financials). I'm moving this week so that's another thing -- I did the change of address online but just for me. It asked me if I have a case pending and for the receipt number which I put in. I guess I have to do a change of address for my husband, too? It's kind of confusing.

Vika, I'm sorry this is happening to you. It is hard to understand why it took them 2 months to realise that they are not able to process you fingerprints! Hopefully everything is gonna go fast after your second biometrics! Now I worry about mu fingerprins, because the lady taking them had some trouble and did every finger a couple of times... I guess you can never be sure that they did a good job

Hey Guys,

Sorry that I have not been on in so long. It is just that nothing was happening on my case until now! My EAD has been ordered. How long does it usually take to get it in the mail? Doe AP usually come out around the same time as EAD? I want that to quit my job and head back to Ireland for a few weeks!!!!

Hi Guys...an update from me here...

Goodnews to start for our Monday with...Just got home now, and SO happy to see the email from Cris...my EAD and AP approval was sent and Card production was ordered!!!!! Hope it wont get that long till i would receive it in hand. They say 30 days, but wish its gonna be SOONNN...Been praying for it SO hard and am just dying to get myself to working again!!!....Excited for job hunting..hope it wont be that tough though... Hey...check ur emails guys...maybe USCIS finally get back to US April filers...and send approvals to all of us at one time...

.....To all whos still waiting for EAD....Am Sending positive vibes to everyone,...its coming soonnn!!!!

I guess what is happening is they get the file and let it sit for 2 months unless it's a transfer case while they're processing the applications filed earlier. Nothing we can do about that I guess.

The funny thing is they scheduled my 2nd biometrics for Wednesday, July 16th 9am at Cleveland office, but Cleveland ASC is closed on Wednesdays (it says right there on USCIS web office locator). Weird...

Don't worry about the lady who was taking your prints - they all re-scan each fingure until the software "approves" the quality of the print taken.

The bad thing - its electronic data that can go corrupted I suppose.

Meanwhile, I got a soft touch on my I-485 today. Hopefully it's a good sign for once we give them all they need.

Just receive this 2 emails from "CRIS" (USCIS) today:

1)

Application Type: I131 , APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 7, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT....

2)

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On July 7, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

I really hope the best coming for all of you...

AND, just check online ...they update this 2 cases also....just need to wait for something in the mail box now...
