Hi Everyone....! Just checking in...and a quick update...

Checked status online today after a week of NOT checking and found out my i485 was touched on 27th...But my EAD is still untouched after biometrics :crying: .....Sigh...sigh...and deeper sighs!!!!....well am just telling myself, MAYBE my greencard will come SOOONNN...so i wont need of EAD anymore :wacko: .......Yaikkkkssssssssss.....just WISHFUL Thinking..... :bonk: -------ME!....all right id rather go back to stitching! Have a nice day everyone! Godbless us all! Ciao!

Same with my case.. We even have kind of the same timeline... AOS touched last on the 27th.. No touches on EAD and AP since the one after the Biometrics... Am hoping too that those touches mean something good.. Good luck to us :thumbs:

*sighs* no touches for 2 weeks :crying: my AP was last touched April 26, my EAD on May 13th and my AOS June 12th :crying: :crying:

I hope i hear from them real soon.......

Maybe most of them are on vacation for the July 4th holiday that's why this week has been slow.....

EAD expedite Service Request submitted:- 06/10/2008 (Day 75)

EAD card production orderd email (1st email):- 06/12/2008

Received AP in 3 days but no EAD yet. I want to know if anyone else waited this long (18 days!!) to get EAD in mail. I am really frustrated about this EAD.

Sammy, I hope you get your EAD soon, hang in there.

I wanted to ask you how did you submit the expedite service request, was it a form? how did you go about doing that? Do you think you received the notificaiton that the EAD card was ordered as a result of that or because it was high time you received the EAD anyway?

If it's more than 75 days since you filed your EAD then you can USCIS and ask them to open a Service Request to expedite your case. They ask you for the reason. THen they do it on youyr behalf over the phone. Well, about the other question i am not sure what trigggered my EAD card ordered status. It was about time and also it happened right after i put up a SR. Not sure. I still didn't get my EAD in mail. So, i would advice not to put a SR as it may have irritated them but then who knows?

WE had our AOS interview today...thankfully we were approved and my husband had his I 551 stamp today and green card production was ordered..yaaay :dance: :dance: :dance:

22 AP approvals, 32 EAD approvals, 41 transfers, 4 interview date out of 101 filers :dance: :dance: :dance:

The earliest interview date is July 1st, I believe soon we'll hear the first GC approval from our group :thumbs:

Hi Everyone,

We recieved AOS inerview date yesterday for August 26, 2008 :). I noticed some people have interviews for AOS and others don't...any idea why?

Well, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS !!! April filers are moving, though slowly recently, but moving :)

People, who get transferred to CSC , usually don't get interviews and get approved. Those, who aren't transferred get a notice of the interview... And it mostly happens to K3 filers, though there are K1 filers who have also got interviews.

I think every office government or not gets lazy on Holiday weekends.

Hey all, just thought i'd update. I called the customer service line to ask about the address change forms etc to make sure I had sent all the forms in I needed to. I then asked if we could get an expedite on our EAD, I was informed without my husband there to say it was ok to speak with me, they were not able to talk with me regarding that. However, he didn't get around to calling them today but I checked my email on my lunch break at work and we were approved! :) Happy day! :dance::dance::dance:
